General ResponsibilitiesThe Secretary will play a vital role in supporting the Health Services program at ESD 112. They will provide secretarial support to our Health Services Director over 25 school nurses in the School Nurse Corps and five Audiologists in our audiology program.
Assignment:This position is 8 hours per day 230 days per year.
Salary:The full salary range for this position is $23.37 $28.43 per hour/$43000.54 $52310.88 annually. Offers are made at the beginning of the position will close on Friday May 30 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
Essential Functions/Other FunctionsEssential Functions:- Engage in routine phone clerical and record keeping work.
- Create required reports and correspondence.
- Create and process fiscal reports and similar program fiscal documents.
- Manage and provide support services for conference and workshop activities and support the work of Administrative Assistants to accomplish program and agency objectives.
- Implement office and building procedures program projects and assigned tasks.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff volunteers and general public.
- Develop and process documents compile and manage data and prepare summary reports.
- Track tasks and projects from development through implementation.
- Utilize technical skills and provide support to program and program managers.
Other Functions:- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain orderly and tidy work space
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications & SkillsMinimum Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of secretarial experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs and managing databases.
- Experience in a customer service environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Associates degree.
- Three years of secretarial experience.
- Experience in an educational environment.
Working Conditions/Employment RequirementsWorking Conditions:- Office environment.

- Perform stationary routine and repetitive functions for extended periods.

- Occasional travel including overnight for conference support.
