Job Description

General job duties. Types of procedures required. Care of 34 PCU level patients with ability to perform usual care involved with caring for a patient delegation to PCA trach care ventilator monitoring. Will care for patients through utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting medication systems etc.)Omnicell Sorian/Cerner Baxter IV Pumps Required skills and minimum years of at least 3 years experience. Need to be able to work with ventilators tracheotomy and non titrated drips. Med/Surg float experience. Bedside tele experience licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT CRT BLS ACLS etc)BLS ACLSShift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone Is call required If so how often Are weekends required) Please see job description for shift infoFloating to other units/departments. (If so to which units/departments)5C 5D and Trauma Acute Care depending on skillsBed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.28 Beds Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)4:1 on high acuity side 57:1 on low side. Dress Code:Navy Blue Scrubs for registered nurseTell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation will receive orientation training per the education department will then have 2 shifts to learn role within unit. Expectation for prior experience with equipment/procedures within the department. Can supplement training specific to policies/procedures as needed.
