Im building a worldclass team of mechanical and structural steel engineering experts who will literally shape the future of material handling infrastructure for Amazons nextgeneration facilities and I need a leader to run this team. This isnt just another job this is about engineering at massive scale with the freedom and funding to innovate faster than you ever thought possible.
Im seeking a leader who:
Breathes technical quality and precision
Knows how to build and inspire highperformance teams
Has deep experience in material handling equipment project design and execution
Can translate complex technical requirements into executable plans

Key job responsibilities
Lead a team of mechanical and structural project engineers.
Define processes and tooling of the future to enable the teams to scale.
Collaborate with outside vendors and crossfunctional teams
A day in the life
You will be building the bridge while you walk on it we have never internally delivered the full engineering supply installation and commissioning of a building before so this leader will be defining what we have to actually do and then doi it.
Bachelors degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent OR a related field
10 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation of Industrial Engineer Process Engineer Manufacturing Engineer or relate
5 years experience managing a team of engineers
Experience must involve technical management for largescale engineering projects
Experience with Material Handling Equipment and packaging lines or process design or related systems
Masters degree in Engineering (any discipline) Operations or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in the specialty.
Experience with complex automated material handling equipment packaging technologies and systems including robotics and highspeed manufacturing.
Experience with process design based on Lean Principles.
Capital project management skills.
DesigninSafety experience
Proficiency with concepts like system architecture optimization system dynamics and using statistics and reliability metrics to solve problems.
Ability to travel up to 25% of time
