Responsibilities
Were looking for Security Officers to join our growing team! Youre passionate about patient visitor and staff safety have a close eye for detail and love to collaborate with a dynamic team. Whether youre looking to stay with our team long term or use this role as a stepping stone for a future law enforcement career you will gain valuable handson experience that will meet your long and short term goals.
Qualifications
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (GED) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- 1 year of law enforcement security military or other relevant experience required
License Requirements:
- DL Valid California Drivers License and driving record acceptable to Community Health System e.g. no convictions related to driving offenses including DUI or excessive drivers license suspensions or moving vehicle citations within the last seven (7) years
- BLS Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- GUARD State of California Guard Card required
- CPS OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
