Job Description

The Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) team is a singlethreaded organization that owns the Endtoend Customer experience for heavy and bulky products. AMXL consolidates supply chain tech FC operations transportation delivery stations and last mile delivery. We also provide special handling services such as Room of Choice delivery HaulAway and Installation/Assembly for select items. AMXL currently has operations in NA & EU. We make complex problems fun working backwards from our customers! The transportation network encompasses all of the operations required to deliver worldwide shipments from our fulfillment channels to our customers.

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to own cross carrier optimization initiatives for AMXL Last Mile Supply Chain (LMSC). The optimization pillar will be led by one Sr. Supply Chain Manager (SCM) reporting directly to the Last Mile Supply Chain Leader. You will exhibit high ownership serving as a direct partner to peer pillar leaders within LMSC and other Supply Chain teams. The anticipated outcomes for this pillar include but are not limited to the formalization of mechanims to improve cross carrir decision decision system controllership change management across 1P and 3P SC teams regarding new initiatives and partering with LTP on big rocks initiatives to accelerate the reduction of our cost to serve with a focus on Last Mile CPP.

Key job responsibilities
Lead strategic initiatives related to network capacity within Amazons various transportation carriers.
Concentrate on optimizing and managing the flow of goods information or services within AMXL supply chain network.
Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency in network capacity.
Define metrics develop program management mechanisms and invent/simplify processes to drive decisionmaking in complex network capacity situations.
Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network capacity goals.
Own a portfolio of crossfunctional programs related to network capacity driving performance improvement and efficiency in project delivery.

About the team
The Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) supply chain team is looking for an experienced leader with a strong record of achieving results to create and execute our supply chain. AMXL obsesses over customers by offering a white glove service where we deliver TVs and other large items like furniture to customers homes. Not only do we deliver large parcels we unpack assemble install and sometimes even do tests hauling away old items as needed. We are seeking an experienced leader for an exciting opportunity to work in the transportation delivery space to drive forecasting capacity planning and launching new delivery operations. In this role you will deal with ambiguity identify problem statements and develop innovative solutions to improve Customer Experience reduce cost and create a best in class home delivery network.

5 years of program or project management experience
5 years of supply chain experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership

2 years of driving process improvements experience
Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
