Our Leeds office opened in 2019 and is now well established with a rapidly growing team and a strong pipeline of projects.
As an experienced bridge engineering technician you will play an integral role in the design and delivery of our projects. You will be supported throughout by our teams in the UK and Ireland.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Production of engineering drawings and details of bridges retaining walls and other civil structures
BIM coordination
Production of reports
Document control/ management
Provision of assistance with bridge inspections and site visits
A relevant qualification (minimum UK Level 3 qualification BTEC NVQ or equivalent) and/or hold/will shortly achieve the title of EngTech or IEng with the ICE IStructE or equivalent
A minimum of three years relevant experience
Flexible motivated and focused
Good technical knowledge and bridge engineering understanding
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to produce quality design outputs
Good knowledge of AutoCAD BIM and software interoperability
Comfortable working in a busy work environment with tight deadlines
Fluent orhighly proficient in spoken and written English
Bridge detailing skills in particular reinforcement and steelwork
3D modelling
Ability to use a range of software packages such as CADS RC Civil 3D Revit BIM Navisworks
