In Hamburg we are looking for an Senior Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to complete our team.

Responsibilities

  • Design develop and test systems and components: Bring your creativity and technical skills to the forefront as you create and refine cuttingedge systems and components.
  • Develop test manufacturing and service procedures: Play a crucial role in ensuring our components are reliable and efficient by crafting detailed procedures for testing manufacturing and servicing.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams: Work closely with diverse teams to drive project success sharing your expertise and learning from others.
  • Engage in projects requiring electrical engineering knowledge: Apply your electrical engineering skills in exciting projects with our R&D manufacturing and service teams.
  • Learn and apply skills in different fields: Thrive in a multidisciplinary environment expanding your knowledge in areas like optics and microfluidics.
  • Manage documentation: Keep our projects organized and compliant by managing documentation according to our quality standards.
  • Enhance product design and manufacturability: Contribute to the continuous improvement of Bruker Biosensors products making them more efficient and userfriendly.
  • Optimize key performance parameters: Identify and enhance components to improve critical performance aspects such as noise reduction and thermal stability.
  • Handle electronic parts obsolescence: Ensure our systems remain uptodate by managing the lifecycle of electronic parts.
  • Design and improve system electronic architecture: Innovate and refine our electronic systems ensuring they meet EMC and electrical safety standards (610101 NRTL).

Qualifications

  • Master Degree in electrical engineering physics or a related field.
  • Experience in the design of digital analog and RF circuits.
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer or other ECAD software.
  • Experience with electronic simulation software such as LTSpice.
  • Programming skills in VHDL Python C# and C.
  • Ability to read write and interpret technical documentation.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methods.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong sense of initiative.
