Candidates need to be licensed as a school counselor in the State of Vermont (or eligible for licensure) with experience in:Enabling students to achieve the schools implementation of proficiency based with students for career and postsecondary planning both individually and in the skills to work with teachers parents and the school community to support student academic and using diverse and innovative student support systems within the school with connections to the wider and interpreting data with direction toward a comprehensive school counseling access to the schools system of flexible pathways for all students wherever possible and student needs through Act 176 504 ESS and other accommodative commitment to high academic expectations for all implementing and evaluating a standardsbased counselor program to help all students develop selfunderstanding and personal competence including the ability to make healthy and informed choices to develop productive and satisfying relationships and to resolve conflicts how to work cooperatively and respectfully with all families to support students learning and an advocate for students in the learning and Benefits: As per Teachers Collective Agreement.
