Job Description
Buy with Prime Design is seeking a Senior Visual Designer who will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our fastgrowing program. Were looking for an experienced designer strong in visual communication specializing in creating engaging and cohesive systems for websites mobile apps and brands. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in design systems with a customerobsessed mindset to create scalable intuitive solutions that serve both our customers and partners.
In this role youll architect and evolve the visual design systems that empower merchants to seamlessly integrate Buy with Prime into their directtoconsumer experiences. Youll collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create compelling visual narratives that demonstrate the value of our program while ensuring our design language remains consistent accessible and forwardthinking. Youll spearhead the development of a comprehensive design system that maintains perfect sync between Figma components and coded elements featuring thorough documentation and continuous evolution based on user insights and performance data. Youll model best practices and implement scalable processes that enable autonomous team contribution while ensuring thoughtful curation and quality control of this growing system.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive design systems and component libraries in Figma ensuring scalability and ease of use across large design teams.
Establishing clear contribution guidelines and quality standards through efficient review and approval workflows.
Establish and model best practices for component development and documentation.
Transform customer insights and performance data into compelling visual solutions that enhance our customer experiences and steer the direction of future designs.
Thoughtfully leverage Amazons brand elements with internal and external design languages to craft seamless visual experiences.
Create bestinclass visual design assets including illustration and iconography systems that communicate complex concepts simply.
Create persuasive visual presentations and pitch materials for merchant partners.

5 years of experience in visual design with substantial work in design systems.
Portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI design design systems work and visual communication. A deep understanding of typography color digital execution and great usercentered design solutions.
Highly proficient in Figma Adobe Creative Suite and related design software.
Proven experience creating and maintaining component libraries for large design teams.
Strong understanding of interaction design principles and animation.
Bachelors Degree in Design Visual Communications HCI or related field.
Effective crossteam collaborator with the ability to work across multiple creative projects.
Experience working with data and insights to inform design decisions.
Has relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo).
Experience designing for both B2B and B2C audiences and bridging the two
Leveraging motion design and prototyping skills to deliver micro interactions that enhance the customer experience.
Experience with ecommerce logistics and payments platforms
Track record of successful collaboration with engineering teams
Understanding of frontend development principles
Skill in illustration and iconography design
Excellence in verbal and written communication with strong presentation skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to be selfdirected as needed.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
