Based primarily out of Boise on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus. Very limited call responsibilities only 1:7 weekends and for rounding on elective inpatients only. No ER call responsibilities. Tail)Health/Dental/VisionRetirement (403b)This practice has a structured and supportive clinic environment where providers work together alongside the supervising physician as a team with colleagues to evaluate and treat surgical patients with complex foregut bariatric and general surgery all surgeries are preformed with minimally invasive robotic laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques. The majority of patients are treated in an ambulatory fashion leading to very low inpatient APP will assist with seeing patients in the clinic with ability to eventually run an independent clinic in partnership with supervising physician assist with patient rounding in the hospital and assist in surgical cases in the operating room. The provider will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies procedures and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians clinics or other health resources as indicated. Expertise and proficiency utilizing electronic health records is necessary. Our practice utilizes minimally invasive techniques previous experience or drive to be adept to robotic surgery is of utmost qualified candidate will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills expert clinical skills and problemsolving abilities and commit to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care and having the ability to independently manage patients in an outpatient clinical setting is of importance along with performing officebased procedures. In addition to having exceptional clinical skills the APP must demonstrate a collaborative approach in working with the other team members. The APP works in harmony with the surgeons to ensure the highest quality clinical outcomes while providing exceptional patient experience. Requirements:Current unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEAPhysician Assistant (PA):Successful completion of PA Graduate Program (Masters Level preferred) and NCCPA certification (PAC).Nurse Practitioner (NP):Successful completion of NP Graduate Program (Masters Level preferred) and either AANP or ANCC medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multispecialty medical group. In providing this support you will obtain an Idaho medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health Systems general internal program across all communities we serve.
