Manager Software Engineering (multiple positions available)
Salesforce Inc. has multiple job openings for Manager Software Engineering in San Francisco CA:
Job Duties: Build a sustainable high performing team and a work environment thats both supportive and challenging. Plan direct or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing information systems systems analysis and computer programming. Partner closely with engineers product design and customer experience groups to define the roadmap for the team. Mentor and coach engineers on the team helping them to develop into technical leaders. Collaborate with other engineering leaders on priorities processes and policies. Be accountable for driving project execution. Help design and rollout internal process workflows and metrics. Help define processes and the engagement model for the team. Balance a bias for action with the ability to make wellinformed decisions. *HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street 415 Mission Street and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Parttime telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Salesforce offices in San Francisco CA.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering (any field) or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelors degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering (any field) or related field of study and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Hack; (2) ReactJS; (3) Swift; (4) Java/Kotlin; (5) Agile software development lifecycle; (6) Messaging apps; (7) API design and development; (8) Engineering team management experience; (9) Cloud automation tools. Any suitable combination of education training and/or experience is acceptable. Parttime telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Salesforce offices in San Francisco CA.
Salary: $273915.00 $275000.00 per annum.
