Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking aSystems Engineer SME MBSE to support our Space Systems Solutions business unit.
What youll do:
The Systems Engineering SME will support the Chief Engineer with developing the architecture baseline (digital twin) using Model Based Systems Engineering expertise. The SE will generate digital engineering artifacts of the mission planning app to provide a comprehensive realtime view of the technical and programmatic details. Artifacts at each milestone will be defined by the Program Office and the Framework. At minimum digital engineering artifacts encapsulate MBSE Models Digital Twins and Digital Engineering Environment/Integrated Digital Environment. Responsibilities also include demonstrating the capability to utilize a digital twin to test additional capabilities.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- 12 years of experience with a Bachelors degree; OR 10 years of experience with a Masters degree; OR an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors degree
- This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of TopSecret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request contract requires TS/SCI with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
- Experience developing and supporting system engineering processes across the entire system lifecycle to include the analysis planning design development deployment integration test or configuration of software.
- Expertise utilizing the Cameo System Modeler suite of tools
Desired Qualifications:
- MBSE certifications (i.e. OMG System Modeller)
