We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Shipper Student. This role is based in our Clarkson Distribution Centre and reports to the Distribution Centre Manager.

The Distribution Centre Shipper Student is responsible for assisting in the operation of a fastpaced highvolume distribution center in a shipping office environment. The successful candidate will become a vital part of a professional distribution team and effectively assist in continually meeting the changing demands of our industry and our customers.
The Shipper Student will work in collaboration with other departments customer service inventory deployment manufacturing plants and logistics & transportation.
Principal Responsibilities:
Use our operating systembased software to handle incoming and outgoing orders and transfers.
Assign (dispatch) the daily workload for the DC employees according to the existing service and quality standards defined by IPEX.
Complete all associated shipping and customs documents for LTL truckload pickups & courier shipments ensuring timely shipping.
Operate within a fastpaced environment and professional atmosphere which requires constant adjustment of priorities and workloads.
Control cycle count processes and perform physical counts as needed.
Work in collaboration with the Customer Service & Logistics teams to ensure customer needs are met and issues with orders/transfers are addressed on a timely basis.
Work directly with drivers & customers and represent the company with courteous integrity.
Required Skills/Qualifications
Currently enrolled in College or University
Prior experience in Distribution logistics and/or customer service office environment.
Excellent written & verbal skills.
Detailed solid understanding of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Experience in an RF environment would be an asset.
