Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)
We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Engineer API and Integration platforms expert to lead and manage the API and Integration platforms across all environments and throughout their lifecycle.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee deployment maintenance and optimization of API and Integrationplatformson Linux and Azure.
- Collaborate with application teams to design and deploy API and integration flows.
- Provide 3rd level support for API and integration flowsimplementations including daylight and overnight support.
- Identify and implement improvements to Euroclears API and integration flowsimplementation.
- Mentor and coach peers sharing expertise and best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define processes.
- Support CIS Product Owner Architects and Application Designers in establishing roadmaps and implementation plans.
- Develop and disseminatebest practices and guidelines for API and integration services.
- Participate in watch duty rotation providing 2nd and 3rd level support for production services.
Technical Skills Required
- Over 5 years of experience in managing and supporting Azure APIM IBM API Connect and IBM App Connect Enterprise.
- Proven knowledge in managing middleware on Linux and Azure platforms.
- Expertise in scripting languages used with Ansible/Tower.
- Familiarity with security concerns networking availability and performance mattersrelated to Azure APIM IBM API Connect and IBM App Connect Enterprise.
- Experience with Linux and container technologies Azure and Terraform.
- Ability to integrate Middleware capabilities provided by Microsoft Azure with onprem Linux and OpenShift hosting.
