Job Description
Position Department: Motorcycle Range Aide Continuing Education & Workforce Development
Type of Position: NonCredit Instructor Exempt
Work Schedule Hours per week: Weekend Shifts 6:00 am 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Salary $18.00 per hour
Pay Range:varies and determined based on relevant years of work experience.
Position Summary: The Motorcycle Range Aid assists the MSF Rider Coach Motorcycle instructors Instruction on the range. Responsibilities include range instruction exercise set up garage storage structure and organization and assuring safety standards are maintained.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Physical demands of the job include being able to stand for a continuous 6 hours and the ability to carry push and pull 25 lbs.
- Must be able to bend at the waist rotate upper body kneel and bend at the knee.
- Must have manual dexterity for manipulation of vehicle driving. tools and equipment.
- Reflexes must be adequate to ensure safety while operating a motorcycle and golf cart.
- Must be able to speak and hear over surrounding noise of motorcycle instruction.
- Must be able tolerate exposure to extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid motorcycle license.
- Two years of riding experience.
