Position Summary:
Contributes to new product development by supporting Quality initiatives. The primary purpose of the role is to assist the R&D Quality Engineering group with daily responsibilities and improvement projects related to Product Development Test Method Development Design Controls and Risk Assessment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Data checks
- Training checks on protocols and testing execution
- DV builds mock auditing /document reviews
- Riskassessment support
- Tooling qualification
- Preliminary protocol and data review for consistency
- Execution and evaluation of newly developed and revised test methods
- Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
- Perform job functions in accordance with applicable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO guidelines
- Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards
- Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
- Enrolled in a college level engineering or microbiology program
- Demonstrated interest in Medical Device Development Quality Systems Inspection or Quality Engineering
- Computer skills including understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
