The Business Development Representative (Fortinet) for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization is responsible for maintaining customer relationships driving vendor initiatives supporting partner enablement activities and managing vendor pipelines.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on products and programs for the sales organization.
This role focuses on the growth and enablement of partners by conducting outbound calls following up on leads and pipeline opportunities closing deals profiling partner accounts and expanding relationships beyond the main contact.

Build and maintain relationships with customers ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
Provide excellent customer service and support serving as a primary point of contact for customer consultations.
Collaborate with vendors to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth.
Support partner enablement activities including conducting vendor training as an SME and providing guidance on product and program knowledge.
Track and manage the vendor pipeline including identifying and qualifying leads and moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely followup and accurate reporting on vendorrelated activities.
Develop indepth knowledge of vendor products programs and industry trends.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on vendor offerings providing guidance and support to the sales organization.
Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive results.
Use creative problem solving as well as providing technical knowledge to effectively configure price quote and process requests for specific hardware software service.
Provide education and technical guidance for product alternatives crossreference assistance and support to the customer.
Actively participate in the sales team customer account planning and review process.
Conduct customer consultations and provide vendor training as a subjectmatter expert
May attend industry specific business training from vendors.
Performs other additional duties as assigned.
High School Diploma required.
1 Years of relevant work experience.
Proficient in English (level B2 or higher) required.
Full knowledge of assigned product / service line.
Gaining understanding of organizations entire product / service line.
Works on small to midsize accounts of moderate complexity.
Works with some supervision.
Perform and perfects sales and service tasks and procedures under selfdirection.
Build relationships directly with customers to broaden the customer base and increase sales.
Actions impact the success of the entire work group.
Failure to accomplish goals or meet customer expectations will result in failure of the work group to meet goals.
1 years of relevant experience preferred with an associates degree in business marketing or related fields preferred
Willingness to travel as needed.
Professional environment (Remote).
Occasional nonstandard work hours or overtime as business requires.
Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all salesoriented activities.
