Job Description
Quantum Organics is looking for a qualified Warehouse Laborer to come join the operations team at our state oftheart organic waste recycling campus in Southington CT. We are looking for individuals who are mechanicallyminded and eager to learn new skills in the renewable energy and organic waste recycling field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a qualified person with the ability to focus and assist with the daytoday operations at a single site facility with the purpose of maximum function and quality of time and effort during the daily process. The qualified candidate is familiar with daytoday warehouse plant operations. The successful candidate will become part of an operations team supporting our largescale food waste processing systems and onsite cogeneration plant to ensure they operate at peak efficiency. The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
- Full time position as part of a warehouse team in product breakdown and sorting of material for further production
- Working with others on the warehouse floor to meet projected goals
- Cleaning and organizing work areas
- Being aware of work environment and surroundings
- Responsible for use of safety PPE and adhering to company safety guidelines
- Communicating with team members effectively
Requirements
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be punctual
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must work well and communicate with others
- Must be able to understand and communicate in the English language
- Must have a strong work ethic; be a selfstarter motivated by the companys mission
- Must be able to pass all preemployment requirements including preemployment drug test and all I9 requirements
- Must be able to perform physical activity such as: standing walking without assistance bending reaching and lifting during approximately 90% of work shift
- Must be able to lift 5065 lbs
- Must be willing to learn interact and adapt to new operating processes and environments
- Must have a level of organizational and problem solving skills
- Must adhere to health safety and environmental regulations
Pay: $18.00 per hour depending on skill and experience.

Schedule:
- 8hour shift Monday thru Friday 7:00am3:30pm (1/2 hour lunch)
- Possibility of OT during the week and occasionally on Saturday.
