Applicants must pass a series of tests and interviews prior to selection as employees. Once selected individuals must complete academy requirements and if successful continue to field training assisted by veteran officers (PO Master or Corporals). This job requires a preemployment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Gwinnett County Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace.
Salary & Incentives:
$53772with possible incentives up to:
$55385(3% educational incentive) for an associate degree
$56998(6% educational incentive) for a bachelors degree
$5300 hiring incentive for new hires
5% night shift differential
The grade for this position is PL213.
