Description

The Vice President of Operations is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational functions across manufacturing supply chain IT safety facilities engineering and manufacturing engineering services delivery. This leader will champion a culture of creative problem solving process discipline crossfunctional collaboration and operational excellence to drive worldclass outcomes in safety quality culture and customer satisfaction.

The VP of Operations will architect and implement sustainable repeatable and transferable systems and processes that enable significant scaling of the business in the next 35 years.
This position has been identified as a key position with specific responsibilities input support and alignment with Click Bonds Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS). The QEMS is the overall framework for the companys policies and operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the companys growth and profitability goals.
  • Lead crossfunctional initiatives to support sustainable doubledigit growth while preserving agility innovation and a culture of learning.

Operational Excellence:

  • Design and institutionalize lean scalable and modern processes across manufacturing supply chain manufacturing engineering and facilities engineering / maintenance service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement using metricsbased management Kaizen Six Sigma and other high quality visualmanagement frameworks to enable confident decisionmaking at the local level.
  • Model teach and strengthen the teams creative problemsolving skills enabling people at all levels to engage in active continual improvement.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build and mentor highperforming teams rooted in creativity engagement and accountability.
  • Champion a safe inclusive and highmorale workplace culture that roots in the companys values and the Click Bond Way.

Safety & Quality:

  • Protect our people by ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety and product/service quality.
  • Safeguard the enterprise through robust compliance with all industry regulation and customer requirements.

Customer & Employee Satisfaction:

  • Align operational priorities to deliver superior customer satisfaction and ontime performance.
  • Partner with organizational development and people operations leadership and other departments to enhance the employee experience retention and career development.

Technology & Sustainability:

  • Partner with IT and engineering to integrate modern technologies and automation into operations.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction energy efficiency and responsible sourcing
  • Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
  • Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate Click Bond policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining clean orderly and hazardfree work areas.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision be a selfstarter and be detail oriented.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensures the organizations environmental management system (EMS) complies with ISO 14001 requirements. This involves overseeing the development implementation and continuous improvement of EMS policies and procedures conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance and promoting a culture of environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization. Additionally the executive would be responsible for staying updated on regulatory changes providing strategic guidance on environmental initiatives and ensuring that sustainability goals align with business objectives.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing quality systems and ERP/MES integration.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related field (MBA or Masters preferred).
  • 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience in aerospace or a highprecision manufacturing environment. Fastener experience preferred.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the overall direction coordination and evaluation of the operation units.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
  • Interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Teach inspire develop and lead people and cultivate a collaborative team

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work primarily performed in a standard office environment. If in manufacturing areas may be exposed to noise smells heat dust etc. Work requires the observance of fire regulations and safe work practices.
