Description
DeLallo Italian Foods is seeking candidates for a Maintenance Worker. This is a fulltime position with primary responsibilities for maintaining and repairing all property and equipment at our Production facility.
Deliverables
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
- Install assemble and test new machines and equipment.
- Inspect and monitor machines regularly for signs of malfunctions including visual inspections listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.
- Perform troubleshooting for production machinery resulting in successful repair and determination of root cause
- Complete routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment;identifying and replacing worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.
- Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery including mechanical basic electrical and hydraulic.
- Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
- Maintain machinery and the adjacent workplace in a state of appropriate cleanliness.
- Read and comply with work orders concerning service modification or installation of machinery.
- Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment.
- Perform lockouttag out procedures
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Willingness and ability to work with products that may contain gluten cheese pine nuts and other food allergens
- Demonstrate a high attention to detail
- Willingness to wear company issued uniform safety shoes and PPE as required
- Ability to frequently bend reach twist pull push and stoop
- Ability to liftup to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to read write and make simple calculations
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment with all personality types
- High School Diploma or equivalent
