A Medical Technology (MedTech) Sales & Service Associate is a professional who generates service revenue by selling medical devices equipment or software to healthcare providers such as hospitals clinics and physician offices. They work closely with clients to understand their needs demonstrate the benefits and features of the products being sold and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

What Youll be Doing

  • Successfully complete all required training/learning modules on a timely basis.

  • Complete credentialing such as medical testing in a timely manner.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers including medical professionals and purchasing decisionmakers.
  • Understanding the technical specifications benefits and features of the medical devices equipment or software being sold.
  • May performs electronic hydraulic and troubleshooting and make recommendations for parts needed to repair of medical devices.
  • Ability to utilize manufacturer service manuals and documentation to provide advanced troubleshooting root cause and repair while working independently.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare providers.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to healthcare providers during the fee for service sales process.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams including engineers product managers and marketing to ensure alignment with client needs.
  • Delivering quotes to healthcare providers.
  • Continuously measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjusting them as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are able to build strong relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Able to understand the technical needs of healthcare providers and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Work with SOM Sales Service Team and /or the Customer to resolve issues and improve service.
  • Ensure team compliance to all company policies and procedures

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in a related field such as business marketing or healthcare OR Associate degree in a related field such as healthcare/clinical biomedical equipment technology related field OR
  • In lieu of degree 6 years working with medical devices/FDA regulated products in a handson environment required
  • Certifications in sales or healthcare may also be beneficial.
  • Experience in a sales role preferably in the medical technology industry.
  • Valid drivers license and driving record that meets company standards and state requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of medical devices equipment or software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Knowledge of the companys products and services as well as the competition is essential.
  • Ability to close deals and meet fee for service sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry including regulations trends and market developments.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills including the ability to understand client needs and provide solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills including the ability to deliver clear and compelling presentations to clients.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to providing highquality service to clients.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes eye protection gloves and protective clothing. Gloves supplied include both latex and nonlatex materials.
  • Frequently works in environments where biohazards could be present. i.e. Hospitals Service Centers and Depots
  • Must comply with Baxter infection control policies

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68000 $93500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses commission and/or longterm incentive.
