Colby Community College is accepting applications for a parttime adjunct instructor to teach Physical Science courses. This may include disciplines such as Geology Earth Science Environmental Science Astronomy or related areas. Course delivery may include online inperson at the Colby campus or Zoombased instruction for correctional facility students. The college seeks a flexible studentcentered instructor committed to highquality instruction and serving a rural student population.

Compensation
$650 per credit hour

Qualifications
- Masters degree in Physical Science (e.g. Geology Earth Science Environmental Science Astronomy) or a closely related field OR
- Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Physical Science or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching experience and experience with remote or Zoombased instruction are preferred but not required.

Colby Community College is located in northwest Kansas approximately 50 miles from the Nebraska and Colorado borders. From a humble beginning of 99 students in 1964 CCC now serves more than 2000 students annually.
In addition to a 57acre main campus a 60acre farm is used as a handson laboratory and training facility. The College also accommodates hundreds of offcampus students through facetoface online and hybrid courses.
