Were looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team in building innovative websites and web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern web development and has a strong background in software architecture development and testing.Were especially interested in developers with deep expertise in JavaScriptwith React and/or experience being a significant advantage.
Designs programs develops tests and implements interfaces databases applications and web related projects. Analyzes enduser needs and develops software solutions accordingly. Designs or customizes software for clients with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency throughout Sutter Health and its affiliates. Develops frontend lineofbusiness and clinical applications and underlying backend databases. Lastly the Developer III participates in matrixed teams and projects with medium to high resource requirements risk or complexity to perform skilled technical problem resolution.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Strong experience with React and/or
Backend development with
Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with Sitecore XM Cloud Yext and Vercel
Styling with Tailwind CSS
Version control with GitHub
Containerization with Docker
Database experience with MS SQL Server
API development and integration using GraphQL and REST
Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Associates: Computer Science Information Technology or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
6 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel Exchange PowerPoint and Word.
Expert knowledge of hypertext markup language (HTML) and cascading style sheets (CSS).
Expert knowledge of C#
Expert knowledge of Java
Expert knowledge of structured query language (SQL).
Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
Analyze information problems situations practices or procedures to identify patterns tendencies and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives managers and subject matter experts.
Negotiate or exchange ideas information and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or to arrive jointly at decisions conclusions or solutions.
Make presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action or to provide information and instruction.
Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues.

Pay Range is $53.59 to $80.39 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
