Job Description
CleanAIRE NCs Health Program provides resources to help health professionals discuss climate change and air pollution with their patients train health professionals to leverage their trusted voices and advocate for equitable solutions that improve health in our communities now and for future generations and work with healthcare systems and universities to rein in their harmful emissions.

Cultivating Resilience: Planetary & Community Health Solutions for the Future
This twoday inperson event is dedicated to strengthening community health and environmental resilience across North Carolina. This years theme explores the intersection of planetary and human health and community resilience.
University Engagement
- Strategic identification of university departments in alignment with NC BREATHE themes and engagement goals
- Organize update and identify gaps in CANC university contact spreadsheets
- Research and strategically develop longterm HBCU engagement opportunities
Student Support
- Promote student research poster opportunities to universities across North Carolina. Share promotional materials gather professor contacts
- Support curation and execution of student professional development opportunities
- Lead engagement coordination with university contacts of professors and student groups
General Event Support
- Support with other fundraising and partnership aspects of the event as needed
Community Health Network Build Out / Health Partner Strategy Development
Research
- Identify and create a comprehensive document outlining community health entities across North Carolina
- Primary contacts
- Educational opportunities
- Overlap with CANC mission and/or 2526 initiatives
- Community demographics
- Identify and create a comprehensive document outlining community health entities across North Carolina
Mapping
- Utilizing CANCs EJ Data Mapping Tool and PurpleAir Map to identify gaps and opportunities in the health program reach
- Identify two primary targets and create a highlevel engagement plan
- Inform corporate and business membership strategy
Health Storytelling
- Update art and pediatric asthma project
- Renew prompt: Asthma makes me feel like
- Draft funding proposal outline
- Support budget and timeline mapping
