Title of Position: ACCESS 21 SUMMER EDUCATION INTERN
Work Year:Summer
Effective Date of Employment:June 30 2025 through July 24 2025 (plus training hours)
Salary:$15.00 per hour
Organizational Relationship
Or Line of Authority: Program or Assistant Program Director
Internship Coordinator Education Internship Coordinator Summer Coordinator
Statement of Duties:
- Complete education internship training and pre-program planning
- Assist Discovery Club Mentor Teacher in delivery of instruction
- Work as a member of a team with other staff and Student Education Interns after school over the course of about 60 planning and program hours
- Assist with evaluation and data collection
- Complete final Internship program requirements
- Responsible for other duties as indicated by directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designees; and policies of the Haverhill School Committee.
Qualifications:
- Haverhill High School student currently in grades 9-12
- Interest in a career in the Education field
- Experience in Discovery Club or Access 21 Preferred.
- Ability to work with children
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
