Job Description

Join us as an ESG & Sustainable Finance Analyst in our International Graduate Programme (V.I.E)!

Are you ready to kickstart your career with the leading panEuropean market infrastructure Euronext is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our ESG team as an International Graduate (V.I.E) from September 2025 for an initial period of 12 months in Milan. The contract could then be renewed for another year.

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Support the Head of ESG and the ESG team in promoting and coordinating ESG topics both internally and externally

  • Contribute to the development and promotion of flagship events such as Euronext Sustainability Week and the Euronext Sustainable Network

  • Develop and promote financial literacy initiatives internally and externally through the Euronext Foundation

  • Participate develop and project manage the rollout of new ESG initiatives both internally and externally

  • Contribute to Euronexts nonfinancial reporting activities including ESG rating agencies and CSRD reporting and coordinate with internal stakeholders (HR procurement facilities etc.) to improve our performance

  • Monitor and assess the impact of evolving ESG regulations on Euronext and its clients

  • Actively monitor and analyse competitors initiatives and strategies in ESG and sustainable finance.

  • Support the implementation of Euronexts SBTi 1.5C climate alignment roadmap

Your profile:

  • Strong interest in sustainability and its role in capital markets and corporate strategy

  • Previous experience in Financial Markets Corporate finance Regulation or ESG

  • Excellent level of English (oral and written)

  • Solid project management skills with the ability to deliver efficiently in a fastpaced international environment

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Team spirit and outside the box thinking

  • Appetite for communication

  • Strong MS Powerpoint and Excel skills and financial databases (e.g. Factset Bloomberg)

  • Additional languages such as Italian or French are a plus

Within Euronext the ESG Department is in charge of promoting ESG financial products (indices bonds derivatives equities etc.) developing thought leadership on sustainable finance as well as supporting Euronext clients in their ESG journey improving Euronexts own ESG ratings and implementing Euronexts SBTI 1.5 degree roadmap. Our mission is to build capital markets for future generations. As ESG is a transversal topic that runs through the organization the team works in collaboration with many geographies and teams to create and promote the ESG value proposition.
