Originally a country home Pendean House has been transformed and modernised to provide care for people who require nursing and residential care. Care is also offered to those requiring Parkinsons care and palliative care. Short and longterm stays are welcome.
Pendean House is set within its own large grounds offering tranquil landscaped gardens complete with a sensory garden and patio areas and pathways designed for wheelchair access.
Elegant interiors feature oak panellingand decorated fireplaces in comfortable and spacious rooms while all bedrooms come with en suite facilities and a 24hour call system for peace of mind. A lift ensures easy access to all floors of the home. Residents have access to an onsite library an optician a nutritionist reminiscence sessions and relaxation therapy.
As an enhanced service to residents weekly GP visits are conducted at Pendean House Care Home enabling residents to receive regular personalised medical reviews as part of the approach to personcentred care.
Residents can enjoy fresh meals daily whilst enjoying views of the wellkept garden.
The home spends time ensuring that the calendar of events at the home is engaging and entertaining. Events such as cocktail parties theatre trips and music shows can be enjoyed in Pendean House.

Youll help us make health happen by:
- Using bespoke software to raise invoices process income including cash allocation complete banking and take appropriate action in relation to debt management.
- Liaising with Local and Health Authorities to ensure appropriate information and payment is received.
- Ensuring correct and complete documentation including Terms and Conditions are provided and recorded for all admissions.
- Safeguarding monies on behalf of residents and funds raised by the home recording and reconciling transactions to bank statements.
- Ensuringeffective administration of purchasing and supplier payments management of petty cash transactions and replenishment.
- Processing of employee related information and payroll to ensure staff information and payments are accurate and timely.
- Providing clerical support to the Home Manager including letter writing memos and local management reporting.
- Maintaining a wellordered filing system stationary replenishment and personnel file management.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Youve worked as a Financial Administrator before with experience in providing excellent customer service and youll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. Youre approachable organised have an eye for detail andthe ability to build strong relationships with our residents their families and internal/external teams. Youre dedicated efficient and can handle a varied workload andimportantly your caring attitude underpins everything you do to make a real difference to peoples lives.
