Our client a wellestablished and forwardthinking law firm with a strong presence across the North East is seeking an experienced Litigator to join their busy Contentious Probate Team in Darlington.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or legal executive with a solid background in dispute resolution particularly in contested wills inheritance disputes trust litigation and related estate matters. The team is experiencing high demand and this role offers a highquality caseload and the chance to grow within a specialist area of litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of contentious probate matters including challenges to wills Inheritance Act claims executor disputes and trust disagreements

• Advising clients with sensitivity and professionalism during often emotional circumstances

• Drafting court documents correspondence and settlement agreements

• Representing clients in negotiations and liaising with counsel when required

• Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A minimum of 3 years PQE in litigation with demonstrable experience in contentious probate or private client disputes

• A strong grounding in civil procedure and relevant probate legislation

• The ability to handle cases with empathy tact and excellent communication

• Confidence working independently and as part of a closeknit team

• A proactive approach to file management and client care
