Job Title:Consultant in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry
Grade:Consultant
Hours:40 hours per week
Location:West Bromwich Staffordshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry to join a highly regarded NHS client in West Bromwich Staffordshire. This fulltime role offers the chance to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Consultant in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry you will be responsible for the assessment diagnosis and management of adults with learning disabilities who present with mental health conditions behavioural challenges or neurodevelopmental disorders. You will lead on the development of care plans and risk assessments contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff. Your role will involve outpatient clinics home visits and close collaboration with community teams social care and families. You will also contribute to service development clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
