The Role: C# .NET Software Engineer
Join theDRMM Team a group dedicated to enhancing andmaintainingthe software that powers our global remote management and monitoring (RMM) cloud service hosted on the Amazon AWS platform. Our mission is to provide a powerful central support desk equipped withcuttingedgetools to audit managemonitor and support the distributed devices of our customers.
What We Do:The DRMM solutionoperatesby deploying an agent on Windows macOS and Linux platforms which communicates in realtime with our cloud service in AWS. This agentbased RMM system is a corecomponentof our technology and is integral in providing efficient remote device management to customers worldwide.
A key feature of our service isremote control functionality allowing administrators to manage devices seamlessly. As part of our continued innovation you will be a crucial member of the team building our nextgeneration browserbasedWeb Remotetool. Thistool developed using F# and Fable enables users to connect and control desktops from anywhere in the world delivering superior performance and reliability in realtime.
About You (Essential):
- Experience with C# and the .NET Ecosystem:Minimum of 5years including strongproficiencywith the latest versions of .NET.
- Cloud Computing Expertise:Handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Eagerness to Learn Functional Programming: Willingness to learn and apply functional programming principles particularly using F#.
- Agile Methodologies:Solid experience working with Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:Good understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g.NUnitxUnitMSTest).
- Collaboration and Communication:Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to team collaboration.
- Adaptability and Drive:Highly motivated with a passion for learning and thrive in fastpaced dynamic environments.
- Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:Strongproblemsolving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Version Control Systems:Proficiencywith Git or other version control systems in a teambased development environment.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline development processes.
Bonus Skills and Experience (Nice to Have):
- Windows Development:Proventrack recordof developing applications in Windows environments.
- Functional Programming Experience:Previoushandson experience with F# or other functional programming languages.
- RealTime Communication Technologies:Experience withWebSocketsand/or WebRTC for building realtime communication solutions.
- Remote Control Software Development:Familiarity with remote access or control software such as TeamViewer.
- Video Streaming: Experience with video streaming protocols and technologies.
- Frontend Development: Experience with modern web development frameworks particularly React.
- Open SourceContributions:A history of contributing to opensource projectsdemonstratinga passion for collaborative coding.
