Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to define and build products features and platforms that create great customer experience in the Amazon Store. You will own the strategy vision roadmap and execution for a two pizza team of engineers. A successful candidate will be highly analytical able to work effectively in a matrixed organization and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love.
The mission of the EU INTech Consumer Tech team is to help customers find evaluate and compare products they like need or want in a way that they feel confident that they have found the best product for them at the best value. We build features that guide customers through Amazons overwhelming selection and aid in purchase decisionmaking. We believe that every customer and their situation require specific attention and so we aim to build delightful shopping experiences that are tailored to the customers mission. We do this by developing our own customerfacing features services and platforms based on custom European needs and through partnerships with Amazon technical teams around the world.
The ideal candidate for this role will be customerobsessed with the capability to dive in and learn new technologies fast and who is comfortable in a fastpaced dynamic environment; will be a creative and an analytical problem solver with the opportunity to fulfill the Amazon motto to Work Hard. The duties will include working on the initial definition of an aspirational customer experience getting buyin and translating that vision into actionable measurable and discrete roadmap items. You will develop and drive requirements back to a number of engineering teams and partner with them to deliver exceptional products. You will collaborate with numerous product design user research development technology experts and other internal and executive teams to identify define and implement solutions to raise the bar on the customer experience.
The majority of the team are based in Madrid but this role can also be done from Luxembourg or London.
Bachelors degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executivelevel prioritization and planning
Experience in technical product management program management or engineering
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL Excel and other tools
Experience with technologies like Hadoop Rules based systems and Machine learning
