What Youll Be Doing
The Strategy Planning & Business Effectivenessteam leads the Insurance and Wellness & Protection divisional strategies to define our growth ambitions and look to innovate and broaden our product and service offerings. As an intern you will assist the team in identifying segmentation / market level opportunities and implement strategic initiatives to rightsize offers in line with our bank wide strategies to transform and grow. You will play a key role in identifying sizeable opportunities and driving the business forward. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment to solve complex problems through our Design Thinking Process and deliver meaningful changes to help us achieve our winning aspirations.

Important Information
You must be currently enrolled in postsecondary education ideally at a Masters level to be eligible however you do not need to be in a registered CoOp program to be considered for this role

You are a current university student ideally pursuing a Masters degree. Accounting Finance Business Economics major is an asset but not required

Duration of term:16 months full time (September 2025 December 2026)

How Youll Succeed
Strategy Development You will develop and execute strategy initiatives to support the business unit to operate more efficiently and effectively while meeting operational targets and regulatory expectations. You will adapt to ever increasing change and will work on continuously improving the operational effectiveness and performance of the Insurance and Wellness & Protection business.
Analytical Thinking Youll analyze risk and operational metrics including building insights and datadriven strategies leveraging data visualizations leading clear implications and recommendations to guide strategy by providing evidencebased analytical solutions.
Teamwork You will actively participate in team discussions and contribute to creating a fun and collaborative work atmosphere. Support the transformation of conceptual ideas into clear and compelling opportunities.
Creativity The solutions to most of the problems we solve are usually not clear. Outside of the box thinking and sharing your own point of view is important. Youll learn how to work well with ambiguity.
Data Insights Youll work on the creation and maintenance of metrics reports and dashboards to identify measure and quantify benefit realization of strategic initiatives.
Communication Skills You have excellent verbal and writing skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve analysis interpretation and assessment.
