Details:
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform a final quality check to verify that the orders/transfers/vendor claims provided to the packing area are 100% accurate per the order requirements.
- Report any discrepancies per established procedures.
- Inputdataentrytoaccuratelydocumenttheitemsandquantitiesincludedineachpacking transaction.
- Prepare and package all outbound orders carefully to ensure themerchandise is sufficiently protected from intransit loss or damage.
- Applypackaginglabels/attachpackinglistsandstagecompleted ordersforshipment manifest.
- Identify expedited requirements and prioritize the processing of those needs accordingly.
- Attend to regular housekeeping responsibilities throughout the warehouse.
- Conductpackingsupplyinventorychecksandensurethatstocklevelsofpackingsupplies are maintained.
- Perform additional job duties which may be added at any time.
Details:
Knowledge Skill Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum experience requirement: Five or more years in a similar position/ parallel workingenvironmentutilizinga handheld barcode scanner and desktop PC applications
- Minimum educational requirement: High school graduate or equivalency
- Ability to read and write in English and understand basic Math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. while using proper safety techniques or a team lift
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
- Ability to safely operate a pallet jack tape machine and other ordinary tools essential to perform the job
Shift is 8AM 5PM Monday thru Friday
Hourly rate: $17$18 DOE
