Department/Unit Summary
Our Newborn Nursery is a level I nursery which cares for well newborns. Level I nurseries are capable of the following: Our Intermediate Care Nursery consists of four beds that provides care for gestational ages 34 weeks and above that may need help with respiratory support. Staff maintains certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and STABLE.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS Required within 6 months of hire.
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Minimum of 1 year nursing experience. Relief charge experience preferred.
