Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Groupis a familyowned aged care provider operating 38 residential aged care homes with inhome and community care programs in WA ACT and NSW. We are seeking a compassionateSpeech Pathologistto providesupport to our NSW homes on a fulltime basis. You will form part of a supportive and collaborative team with access to ongoing supervision and professional development.
About the role
Reporting to the Director of Nutrition and Hydration you will be responsible for providing speech pathology services to residents requiring assessment diagnosis and management of communication and swallowing disorders as well as supporting our organisationwide menu management activities and Nutrition & Hydration program. Your wellhoned communication assessment and problemsolving skills are easily demonstrated when you work in an interdisciplinary team as well when making meaningful connections with residents and their families.
What youll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology andmembership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Postgrad experience overseeing dysphagia management caseload
- Experience in the aged care industry will be highly regarded
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Influenza vaccination
- Full work rights in Australia
