Seeking a dynamic Social Work Supervisor to oversee both clinical and administrative operations within their Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD)program. Your Role at a Glance
The Social Work Supervisor is responsible for guiding developing and supporting a team of social work professionals while ensuring program effectiveness regulatory compliance and clientcentered care.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to social work staff within the IDD program.
- Lead staff through crisis management processes ensuring support and proper protocols are followed.
- Conduct training and mentorship for social workers promoting professional development and ethical practice.
- Review and audit documentation to ensure accuracy compliance and highquality service delivery.
- Manage daytoday department operations staffing and performance.
- Support staff with electronic medical record (EMR) navigation and best practices.
- Participate in and contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the program.
- Supervise and guide staff on case consultations and treatment planning.
- Monitor systems to ensure all program standards and funding requirements are met.
- Represent the organization at community events interagency meetings and training opportunities.
- Foster collaboration across departments and with external partners.
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting documentation and administrative records.
- Serve as a liaison with senior leadership including the Total Quality Management Director.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and promote a professional respectful work environment.
- Other leadership duties as assigned.
Schedule
- Standard Hours: MondayFriday 8:30 AM5:00 PM
- Flexibility Required: At least one evening per week with occasional evening/weekend availability based on program needs.
Travel
- Minimal local travel may be required for meetings trainings or community visits.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) and current licensure (LMSW or LCSW preferred).
- Minimum of 35 years of social work experience with at least 12 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead with empathy clarity and confidence.
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and clinical documentation review.
- Passion for team development community impact and ethical leadership.
