IO Interactive is currently looking for a Support Engineer. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver that thrives in making workflows smoother and more efficient for our teams. Are you that outgoing serviceminded techsavvy colleague people turn to for help because you have the ability to simplify the complex and find a working solution And are you already a part of or have dreams of joining the games industry Then we need you to come join an amazing AAA games developer studio in Brighton Istanbul or Barcelona.
This is a permanent position based in one of our studios with the option to work from home one day per week.
What you will do:
- Work with and support the production teams from all disciplines alongside your fellow support engineers with the goal of running a smooth production.
- Collaborate across production teams to diagnose troubleshoot and resolve issues users face with our inhouse software.
- Assist our Build Engineers with maintaining monitoring and setting up Perforce.
- Write and debug tools/scripts for automation in PowerShell C# etc.
- Update existing knowledge base and document internal tools and processes.
Who you are:
- Experience with source control and CI/CD platforms; Perforce GIT TeamCity etc.
- Programming experience with C# and/or PowerShell (basic programming).
- You possess detailed knowledge of Microsoft desktop software and have experience debugging in Windows environment
- A friendly and helpful attitude excellent software troubleshooting skills and a flair for making things work.
- You have the ability to prioritize the workload ensure continuity of businesscritical environments and exhibit a good understanding of structured installations.
