Job Description

The Role:

  • Fulltime Design Technology Teacher to inspire and engage students at a leading independent school in Hackney.
  • Develop and deliver innovative projects across various DT disciplines (e.g. product design textiles graphics).
  • Utilize modern technologies and traditional techniques to foster creativity and problemsolving skills.
  • Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Provide personalized guidance and support to students encouraging their design aspirations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Design Technology at KS3 KS4 and ideally KS5.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and traditional workshop skills.
