Job Description
Job Title: Java Fullstack Developer (React JS and Azure Experience)
Location: Chicago Downtown IL (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (W2 or C2C)
Duration: 6 12 Months (with possible extension)
Job Description:
We are looking for a full stack developer with strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Microsoft Azure Cloud services. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects UX designers and backend engineers to develop test and deploy scalable cloud-native applications in a fast-paced environment. This is a 100% onsite role in Chicago Downtown IL.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive web applications using and integrate with REST APIs.
- Build and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot).
- Develop cloud-native applications and services leveraging Microsoft Azure components.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Participate in architecture code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX QA and DevOps.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both frontend and backend systems.
- Ensure the application is optimized for performance and security best practices.
- Write clean scalable and maintainable code.
Required Skills:
- Overall IT Experience: 9 Years
- 5 years of experience in frontend development with Redux TypeScript/JavaScript.
- 5 years of experience in backend development with Java Spring Boot RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure App Services Azure Functions Azure SQL Azure Key Vault Blob Storage etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines Git repositories and deployment automation.
- Strong understanding of HTML5 CSS3 responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Developer Associate Certification (AZ-204) is a plus.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like App Insights Log Analytics.
- Previous experience in financial healthcare or enterprise-grade applications.
