Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daytoday operations of the terminals transportation and logistics activities including the planning and coordination of the movement of freight fleet maintenance and scheduling and the supervision of dedicated routes and dispatch staff. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the company. Participate in longterm planning and decisionmaking to ensure the continued growth and success of the company. Work closely with other departments and teams to ensure that all aspects of the companys operations are running smoothly and efficiently. Hire train and develop team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment including complying with all relevant regulations and standards. Qualifications: 5 years of experience in terminal or logistics management. Strong communication and leadership skills. Proficiency with computer systems and software including routing and scheduling software. Knowledge of transportation industry regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment. Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team to success. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and analysis. Commitment to safety and customer service.
