Job Description
We are seeking a RN Vascular Operating Room for a 13weeks travel/contract assignment in Rochester New York 14621. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12hr. Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2484 $2628
Responsibilities:
- Assist with and circulate in open vascular and hybrid/endovascular OR procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field in compliance with surgical protocols
- Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate with vascular surgeons radiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care
- Administer medications and manage surgical instruments and supplies
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide compassionate highquality care aligned with evidencebased practice
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required.
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
- Must have Vascular experience
Licensure & Certification:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseNew York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS)American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)AHA
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Does not accept local RN candidates within 75 miles.
