Cambriums mission is to trigger the next wave of material innovation by harnessing biologys molecular building blocks. Using our molecular design technology we create novel material building blocks with previously inaccessible functionalities. Our molecules enable innovators to create products that are better for people and the planet.

At Cambrium weve successfully developed innovative products for several markets. But were just at the beginning. Our worldclass research team is already working on new products for coatings foams adhesives fiber and other performance materials. We are now gearing up to bring these products to market and scale our operations from our new office including our inhouse lab in Berlin Mitte.

Your role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Office Cleaning & Operations Specialist to ensure our new office is a clean organized and wellequipped space where our team can thrive. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in creating a positive and productive work environment with potential for growth within the company. You will be a key part of our team contributing to the standard of our everyday workplace and our overall office culture. We are committed to your professional development and will provide opportunities to expand your responsibilities including training in specialized areas and supporting your growth into a team support role.

Your responsibilities

  • Office Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean organized and welcoming office environment through daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Office Inventory Management: Ensure were always stocked with essentials including snacks beverages office supplies hygiene products and more. Proactively manage inventory and place orders as needed
  • Facilities Maintenance: Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors for any necessary repairs or maintenance of office equipment and facilities
  • Team Support: Support the smooth functioning of office operations including managing mail and deliveries
  • Growth and Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to expand your skills and responsibilities. This may include training in cleaning lab equipment assisting with team events or providing more direct team support

Your profile

  • Prior experience in facilities management office maintenance or similar roles is beneficial but not required
  • You take pride in your work are reliable and responsible
  • A genuine interest in growing with the company and taking on new challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • A positive proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices
  • You speak English. German is a plus
