Job Description
MISSION
This role is for a leader ready to own more than a title. At Greystone the Operations Manager is entrusted to lead a dynamic skilled team through handson leadership technical acumen and missionfirst ownership. This is not a legacy seat it s a launch pad. The mission is clear: stabilize operations build systems elevate people and shape the factory of the future.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Lead a 70Person Operational Team with PurposeOversee a multishift team across core departments with six direct Coach level reports. Execute daily operations with clear communications resource coordination and a peoplefirst leadership style grounded in military teambuilding principles.
- Own the 24/5 Manufacturing RhythmManage the operation of a 24hour fivedayaweek factory. Flex between departments with varying shift structures and remain available for team touchpoints during key offhours. Sustain operational consistency while nurturing team morale and readiness.
- Build and Improve Systems Not Just FirefightEstablish and continuously refine systems and processes that eliminate chaos and elevate consistency. Lead rootcause analysis set and track KPIs and embed operational discipline that reduces reactive problemsolving over time.
- Champion CrossFunctional CollaborationOperate beyond silos. Bridge operations engineering purchasing logistics and quality. Know enough across disciplines to ask the right questions lead integrated meetings and drive alignment without seeking permission.
- Deliver Project Ownership from Day OneStep into complex projects tied to technology installations departmental growth and system resets. Serve as PM for your assigned initiatives ensuring timelines people readiness documentation and execution align.

Requirements
Prior experience managing operations in a complex manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to lead teams of 50 individuals including multiple direct reports
Strong communication coordination and decisionmaking skills
Experience overseeing projects driving performance and scaling processes
Technical background preferred (engineering degree or practical fluency across engineering/safety/production disciplines)
Must have served in the U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard Especially roles from infantry logistics maintenance operations or safety
