Position Overview
As a Behavior Technician you ll work oneonone with children in their homes delivering ABA therapy tailored to their individual needs. You ll help them grow by fostering independence developing life skills and encouraging positive behaviors through structured interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver oneonone behavioral support during daily routines playtime and community activities
- Encourage skill acquisition and independence in each session
- Implement behavior intervention strategies created by a supervising BCBA and contribute relevant insights
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of behaviors sessions and progress
- Communicate regularly with your supervisor and participate in training and supervision
- Ensure client safety uphold privacy standards and follow HIPAA regulations
- Assist with light household duties or provide transportation when appropriate
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience with children or individuals with disabilities (preferred)
- Valid driver s license reliable transportation and auto insurance
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs stay active (kneel stand sit on the floor) and respond swiftly as needed
- Comfortable with commuting up to 30 minutes to clients homes
- Enthusiastic about becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 90 days training provided
- Must pass a criminal background check
