Infiniti HR is currently searching for a Payroll Tax Specialist to join our successful team and work closely with our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
The Payroll Tax Specialist is responsible for supporting the Tax department and its accounting needs with the majority of duties focusing on tax related projects reconciliation and dispute resolution. This position is perfect for someone with a high level of dedication to quality and attention to detail and the motivation to clearly communicate with different entities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of payroll tax experience reporting filing and dispute resolution preferably in a multicustomer serviceoriented environment.
- Accounting bookkeeping cash management auditing organizational and data management skills.
- Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs HRIS software as well as email and internet skills. Strong at Excel a must.
- Experience with Mastertax Prism or HRP Payroll is highly preferred.
- Good working knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
- Detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Good decisionmaking skills with the ability to analyze information evaluate results and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges.
- Ability to professionally draft and remit written correspondence to federal state and local tax agencies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) that positively benefits interactions at all levels.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and other preemployment screening

Qualifications: Associate s Degree in Business Administration, or education and experience equivalent in multi-state payroll processing organization. Minimum of three years of experience with reporting, filing, and dispute resolution, preferably in a multi-state service oriented environment, or any similar combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills, with a good working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs, HRIS software, as well as email and internet skills. Strong at Excel and similar spreadsheet platforms a must. Experience with MasterTax, Prism or HRP Payroll is highly preferred. Good working knowledge of federal and state tax laws. Detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy. Effective critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze information and evaluate results. Sensitivity to problems or challenges; an ability to identify and troubleshoot when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, with the skill to effectively communicate with superiors and clients in a professional, consultative manner. Ability to professionally draft and remit written correspondence to federal, state and local tax agencies. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels.
