Job Description
This is a remote position.
Our client a leading global health company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer Full Stack Development (SAP BTP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend software development system integration and support with a focus on delivering highquality scalable solutions in an agile environment.
This is a contractual position through the end of 2025 with the likelihood of an extension into 2026. Candidates must be able to work the clients preferred EU hours.
- Lead the development of backend components and interface integrations using Java within an agile SCRUM framework.
- Manage the endtoend lifecycle of interfaces and applications including operation and support.
- Apply deep technical expertise in backend development to design build and maintain robust highperformance software solutions.
- Develop and deploy solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
- Work with PostgreSQL databases for data modelling querying and performance tuning.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests using tools like Cypress Swagger or similar frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java backend development and fullstack software engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP BTP including integration and extension capabilities.
- Handson experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Proficiency in writing unit tests and working with API documentation/testing tools.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies particularly SCRUM.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills in a global remote working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams across different geographies adhering to EU working hours.
Proven experience in Java backend development and full-stack software engineering. Strong working knowledge of SAP BTP, including integration and extension capabilities. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Proficiency in writing unit tests and working with API documentation/testing tools.
