ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee accounting financial operations and regulatory compliance in our Shanghai office. The ideal candidate will have expertise in China and Hong Kong tax regulations handson experience in trade finance and a proven ability to manage banking relationships. This role is critical for ensuring financial accuracy strategic planning and risk mitigation in a fastpaced trading environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee the full accounting cycle ensuring compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.
Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial statements management reports and variance analysis.
Monitor financial risks related to trading activities and propose mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to China and Hong Kong tax laws (VAT CIT etc.).
Liaise with tax advisors and authorities to optimize compliance and planning.
Provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic decisionmaking.
Manage letters of credit bank guarantees and import/export documentation.
Negotiate terms with banks and maintain strong relationships for favorable credit facilities.
Lead external audits for China entities and support audits for Hong Kong entities.
Maintain robust documentation for audit trails and regulatory requirements.
Drive budgeting forecasting and financial modeling aligned with company goals.
