Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced IFS Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role requires deep technical expertise in integrations reports and customizations within IFS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with custom objects BPA (Business Process Automation) and the Workflow Tool within IFS to design and implement scalable clientspecific solutions. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of technical solutions that enhance business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Integrations:
- Design develop and implement integrations between IFS and thirdparty systems using APIs middleware and other integration tools.
- Ensure integrations are robust secure and aligned with clientspecific requirements
Reports Development:
- Create modify and optimize reports within IFS ensuring they meet client needs for data visibility and analysis.
- Leverage tools such as IFS Report Designer and Crystal Reports to deliver highquality reporting solutions.
Customizations:
- Develop and implement customizations primarily using Custom Objects ensuring alignment with IFS best practices.
- Use BPA (Business Process Automation) and Workflow Tool to create and configure workflows that automate business processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure all customizations are scalable maintainable and aligned with the clients operational goals.
Client Engagement:
- Work closely with clients to understand technical requirements and provide innovative solutions that address their business challenges.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Technical Support:
- Provide ongoing technical support for IFS integrations reports and customizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
Documentation:
- Create detailed technical documentation for customizations integrations and workflows to ensure clarity and maintainability.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Must Haves:
- 3 years as an IFS Technical consultant on implementations upgrade or large optimization projects
- Very strong ability to build custom reports custom integrations and custom functionality within IFS. Using tools like: (Business Reporter Adhoc reporting Operational Reports Power BI Integration IFS Connect API Custom Objects BPA / Workflow tool)
- Strong understanding of solution delivery life cycle from requirements through design build test and implement
Professional Experience:
- 5 years of technical consulting experience with IFS focusing on integrations reports and customizations.
- Proven expertise in developing Custom Objects BPA workflows and Workflow Tool configurations within IFS.
- Strong experience with IFS reporting tools such as Crystal Reports IFS Report Designer and other reporting frameworks.
Technical Expertise:
- Solid understanding of IFS architecture APIs and integration capabilities.
- Proficiency in SQL PL/SQL and other database query languages.
- Experience with middleware and integration tools (e.g. REST SOAP or XML).
ProblemSolving:
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and design effective solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving issues related to integrations reports and customizations.
Consulting Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong client engagement and relationship management skills.
Project Collaboration:
- Experience working in crossfunctional teams including functional consultants developers and endusers.
- Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and deliverables in a fastpaced consulting environment.
