  • Up to $139.37/Hour including Superannuation

Our client is a large Government organisation who are seeking a Performance Tester to join their team.

The Performance tester will design and document performance test scenarios for the program and is intended to deliver a number of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles for the analysis preparation and execution of performance test scripts;
  2. Perform Web services/xml services testing;
  3. Experience in developing and executing data driven test performance/automation scripts for integrated systems developed preferably using Agile methodologies;
  4. Reporting to the Test Assurance Manager must be able to build and maintain effective working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders

Selection Criteria:

  1. ISTQB Certification in Software testing;
  2. Minimum 5 years of performance and nonfunctional requirements testing experience
  3. Demonstrated Script Development experience in any of the following protocols:
  • Web (HTTP/HTML)
  • Web Services (SoapUI)
  • SAP
  • Siebel
  • .Net
On offer is a 12month contract role with a strong possibility of an extension at a highly sought after Government organisation with a highly competitive hourly rate.
